Julia van Eijden, who graduated this summer at AKI Fine Art Sculpture, has been awarded a VSB grant. Julia uses the grant for a work period in Italy, at La’ Meridiana, international school of ceramics’. At the beginning of 2022, she’ll leave for Tuscany for three months. Julia will follow an intensive course in which she can delve further into turning and firing techniques. A total of 8 students are admitted to this course, who can also stay together in a house facilitated by La Meridiana for the working period.
VSB fund scholarships
The VSB fund has grants for students who want to continue their studies or do research abroad after their studies. In the application, involvement with your environment and motivation is the most important. There is one application round per year.
